Clashes and mutual shelling by government forces and opposition groups in Zawiya Mountain

On Friday-Saturday night, clashes took place between Syrian government forces and armed opposition groups in Zawiya Mountain, south of Idlib.

These clashes were due to government forces' attempt to advance in Hersh Binin in Zawiya Mountain.

The clashes were accompanied by mutual artillery shelling, with no reported injuries, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In an attempt to control the largest possible area, government forces continued shelling on Zawiya Mountain.
