DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday night, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested a member of the Islamic State (ISIS) during an operation in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

A military source from the SDF told North Press that “special units from the SDF carried out a joint operation with the Global Coalition forces on Sunday night against ISIS in the Jdeid Akkadat area in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

“The operation resulted in the arrest of an ISIS member and the seizure of military clothing and military equipment belonging to him,” the source added.

On Friday evening, the SDF arrested an ISIS member during an operation against its cells in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, and said they had transferred him to another location for interrogation, according to a source from the SDF.
