Syrian government forces and Turkish-backed opposition clash in several fronts in Idlib and Latakia

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian government forces targeted areas in the northern countryside of Latakia amid Russian drones’ flight overhead in accordance with fierce clashes on the frontlines in the countryside of both Idlib and Latakia, military forces said on Thursday.

 

The government forces targeted with artillery and rocket launchers the regions of Teffahiya, Tilal Raqem, Haddadeh, Kabineh and Aliya in the northern countryside of Latakia.

 

The northern countryside of Latakia province is held by Turkish-backed opposition forces, while Latakia city and the rest countryside is still held by the Syrian government.

 

Also, fierce clashes took place between the government forces and their affiliated militias on one side and the opposition groups of al-Fateh al-Moubin on the other in the axes of Haddadeh and Mezeirbah northern Latakia, amid Russian drones’ flight over the targeted regions and Sehl al-Ghab in the northwestern countryside of Hama. 

 

The artillery of the government forces positioning in Jourin camp shelled the villages of Ziyara, Tel Waset and Mashik in the area of Sehl al-Ghab, Hama northwestern countryside that witnesses an escalation between the government forces and al-Fateh al-Moubin groups.

 

The government forces and the armed opposition exchanged artillery and missile shelling in the axes of Jabal Zawiya and Saraqeb in Idlib countryside.

 

Fierce clashes took place between the government forces and their affiliated militias on one side and the opposition groups of al-Fateh al-Moubin on the other in the axes of Deir Senbol in Jabal Zawiya on Wednesday.
