Another mass grave of 17 bodies of children and women found in Raqqa

The Initial Response Team of Raqqa Civil Council announced on Wednesday, the process of recovering 18 bodies, were found in the village of al-Kasrat, south of Raqqa.
The team started with recovering bodies from al-Maqas cemetery of al-Kasrat, as they were reported by the villagers that some militants of the Islamic State group (ISIS) had buried unidentified bodies in the area.
The team has far recovered 11 bodies on the first day of their work, while they recovered 6 other bodies on the second day, all of whom are children and women of different ages.
Meanwhile, Yasir al-Khamis, the head of the Initial Response Team in Raqqa, told North-Press that they would continue working, noting that it’s divided into two parts, eastern and western the highway.
He pointed out that after they complete the recovery process in al-Maqas cemetery, they will proceed immediately to search in a new cemetery which was found in Jabal al-Shamiya.
Moreover, Yasir al-Khamis, pointed out that there are still four mass graves, which have not been worked on, as recovery process will take place in the upcoming period, after completing the 19th cemetery in Jabal al-Shamiya.
