Areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo and in Afrin’s southern countryside are being targeted by Turkish-backed Syrian armed groups.
North-Press reporter indicated a number of rockets and artillery shells by the armed groups on the area of Kimar.
The shelling hit areas in the villages of Aqibah and Beinah in the southern countryside of Afrin, while it reached Sheikh-Hilal area and the surrounding areas of the town of Tal Rifaat in the northern countryside of Aleppo, causing further material damage, while no injuries were reported as until this hour.
The shelling comes in a renewed and continued targeting operations by Turkey-backed groups located in Afrin and in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
While the southern countryside of Afrin, witnessed shelling by the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups on Saturday morning caused further damage and casualties.
The shelling reached the village of Burj al-Qas in the district of Sherawa in Afrin with several artillery shells and rocket-propelled grenades.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish military with its backed armed groups took control over the Syrian-Kurdish region of Afrin on March 18, 2018, after fierce battles against the local forces of People’s Protection Units (YPG).
