The Autonomous Administration opens crossings with Syrian government for one week

On Saturday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria decided to open the crossings of Atayha in Manbij and Tabqa, in Raqqa countryside, with the Syrian government to travellers to and from  the Autonomous Administration starting tomorrow, Sunday, until next Thursday.

Today, the Autonomous Administration posted on its official Facebook page that the Atayha and Tabqa crossings are temporarily opened to arrivals and departures to and from Autonomous Administration areas.

According to the decision, the crossings will open tomorrow, Sunday, until next Thursday 4/6/2020 , taking into account precautionary measures and physical distancing.

 

Last Wednesday, the administration of the Semalka crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRG)  announced that residents of North and East Syria who entered the region for humanitarian or medical reasons are allowed to return.

The crossing posted on its official  Facebook page that from the 30th  of May, residents of North and East Syria can return from the KRG.

The Autonomous Administration had recently closed Semalka, Atayha, and Tabqa crossings as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus outbreak.
