On Wednesday, the Education Board of North and East Syria issued a decision to end the current school year of 2019-2020 and to transfer all the students to the higher levels for the next school year 2020-2021, according to a statement by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria posted on its official Facebook account.
The decision provided for the follow-up of the educational process remotely in order to make up for the educational dropout, and to make assessments and examinations for the high school students in both the Afrin and Euphrates regions.
On March 23rd, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria imposed a curfew in all its regions to prevent the spread of coronavirus, where all universities, institutes, and schools have been closed so far, and the educational process is being followed up remotely via the Internet.
