Yesterday, Monday, local residents witnessed the entry of dozens of agricultural vehicles from the Turkey to the area between Serekaniye and Tel Abyad, which is controlled by Turkish forces and its affiliated armed opposition groups.
Informed sources told North-Press that about 50 agricultural harvesters, most of them Clayson brand, entered Syria through the border crossing with the city of Tel Abyad.
The sources indicated that about 30 harvesters went to the Serekaniye countryside, preparing to harvest the wheat crop there.
According to the same sources, videos spread on social media show that these vehicles are owned by residents of Jarablus, Azaz, Idlib, al-Bab, and other areas controlled by Turkish forces and armed opposition groups.
The harvester convoy coming from Turkey was accompanied by dozens of tractors and trucks and a large number of workers to start the wheat harvest season in the northern region, which is controlled by Turkish forces and armed opposition groups after the military operation "Peace Spring" on the ninth of last October.
The Turkish invasion last year caused the displacement of nearly 300,000 people from Tel Abyad and Serekaniye, who left their homes, large spaces of agricultural land, and other properties.
