Dozens of local people in city of Raqqa organized a demonstration of solidarity with the people of Idlib, who are living a large displacement movement as a result of the recent military operation amidst Turkish silence. The vigil began to gather in al-Naim roundabout, while the demonstrators painted the walls of some of the destroyed houses in blue, expressing the necessity that the air shouldn't contain any warplanes bombing civilians. The protesters then moved to the former governor's palace building and painted some of its walls as well.

The General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF, Mazloum Abdi stated via a tweet on Twitter a week ago: "Our doors are open to our people in Idlib, they can coordinate with Idlib Military Forces, which are under the banner of the SDF to head into our regions.”

General Abdi called for "stopping the destructive war and building an umbrella which gathers all the national forces that protect the civilians, preserve their dignity, and put an end for the dealers of the blood and homes of the Syrians.”
