As Turkey continues its military operation in north-eastern Syria since October 9, the seizure of civilian properties and looting their belongings after they have been displaced, began with the very first moments of the Turkish aerial and ground bombardment on the city of Sere-Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) and the other areas. Special sources told North-Press that the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups yesterday, have seized about 8,000 sacks of wheat, which were stored in a warehouse near the city of Ras al-Ain. The sources confirmed to North-Press that the wheat which was stored in the warehouse belonged to a local Christian farmer in the area.

The sources added that the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups have deliberately transported the grain sacks into the western countryside of Ras al-Ain, while the last destination was not known. The sources said that the Turkish-backed groups have robbed the agricultural equipment of the farms and deliberately raised their flag on trucks carrying these looted equipment.

It is noteworthy that the area of Sere-Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) and other areas controlled by the Turkish military and its affiliated armed groups have witnessed large-scale displacement waves of more than 350 thousand people, who fled to safer areas in north-eastern Syria.
