Continued displacement of civilians following the withdrawal of SDF from Ras al-Ain

Residents of the villages and towns of Ras al-Ain (Sere-Kaniye) continue to be displaced due to the military operations of the Turkish forces and the affiliated armed groups, despite the announcement of the ceasefire agreement.
Thousands of villagers in Abu Rasin – Ras al-Ain – Tal Tamr triangle were displaced to the city of Hasakah, after SDF had announced its withdrawal from the city.
North-Press reporter indicated that, a wave of displacement involving dozens of families headed to Hasakah, where people of the countryside of Ras al-Ain were displaced in parallel with the withdrawal of the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF from the city.
Our reporter added that, the IDPs have emptied their houses for fears killing, looting and stealing by the Turkish affiliated armed opposition groups.
The SDF withdrew from the city of Ras al-Ain in an implementation of the agreement between the U.S. and Turkey on the ceasefire, accusing the latter of violating the terms of the agreement.
