Syrian Army opens a humanitarian passage in northern Hama – Syrian Official

As the Syrian government forces advance in southern Idlib countryside and cordon off areas in northern Hama countryside, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced today that the Syrian army have opened a humanitarian passage in the town of Souran in northern Hama countryside.
A source in the Syrian Foreign Ministry said; “Regarding having concerns about the citizens’ safety, the Syrian state has opened a humanitarian passage in Souran, northern Hama countryside”.
The source also said that the passage will be protected by the Syrian government forces, in order to enable civilians who want to leave the controlled areas by the armed opposition groups in northern Hama countryside and southern Idlib, as the Syrian forces will secure all the needs of thoae citizens for shelter, food, and health care”.
On Thursday, a field source reported to the Syrian news agency “SANA”, that the Syrian army is conducting combing operations and removing the mines from inside the city of Khan Shaykhun in southern Idlib countryside and the other surrounding areas from which the armed opposition groups have recently withdrawn.
