3k students submit secondary school final exams in the Syrian government areas of control

This morning, more than 300 thousand secondary school students, basic education level, and 4269 students, legal secondary section submitted to exams of the year 2018-2019, in various Syrian governorates.
The students were distributed to 2434 exam centers, on Sunday, more than 240 thousand students submitted to the secondary certificate examinations with its literary, scientific, vocational and legal sections for the first session of the academic year 2018-2019 in the Syrian government areas of control.
According to SANA, official government agency, the Ministry of Education has prepared 2066 centers for the secondary exams in most of the Syrian governorates.
The exams of the literary section end on June 27th, while the scientific and legal exams end on the 30th of this month.
In north and east Syria, the exam centers are distributed between the cities of Al-Hasakah and Al-Qamishli, all of these centers are within the Syrian government areas of control in both cities.
During the exam hours, all connections networks (mobile–Internet) are interrupted in order to prevent cheating attempts.
Syria’s Minister of Education Imad al-Azab asserted that this interruption only would be for three subjects.
Regarding the excesses that occur in some of the exam centers of including nepotism and others, the Syrian Ministry of Education announced a penalty of two years imprisonment, for any student who verbally assaults, or in any other way, the observer inside or outside the exam centers.
The student who harasses the observers inside or outside the exam centers is therefore summoned to the courts and is subject to the penalties contained in articles /371-372-373/ of the General Penal Code, which includes a sentence of imprisonment up to two years, with the possibility of aggravating the sentence in accordance with article 247 if the violent acts are committed by more than one person, and resulting in an injuries or bruises.
