Minister Gebran Bassil warns Europe of emigrating Syrians and dozens going back to their country from Lebanon 

Dozens of Syrian went back by several buses from Lebanon to Syrian lands through official border crossings. 

4 buses at least was seen carrying dozens of men, women and children refugees who decided to go back to their cities, towns and villages inside Syria.  

Buses coming from Lebanon went into Al-Dabbousiyah crossing after they were accompanied by Lebanese security forces and a team of Red Cross Organization. 

The departure of refugees comes after the statement of Gebran Bassil, Lebanese Foreign Affairs Minister about “the terms of Syrian refugees returning from Lebanon to their countries.” 

Bassil pointed out that 80% of Syrian land has no longer problems and terms of those who returned were reassured and didn’t face any harassment according to international reports. 

He also called for “launching political solutions in Syria on the basis of democracy to allow Syrians to go back to their countries”, he also spoke about the necessity of “Lebanese European and American Russian work plan in order to put refugees matter to an end.” 

The Lebanese minister warned that “Syrians staying in Lebanon will not take much time in light of their bad conditions, they will go to either Europe or Syria and it is better for Europe to go back to Syria.”     

“Syrian refugees are harming the Lebanese in their own job opportunities”, Bassil concluded his statement from Spanish capital, Madrid.
