Kubani buying some time, sets internal transportation map

Fattah Isa- Kubani
The garage administration in Kubani/Ain Al-arab set a map showing the starting times for the internal transportation to its bus stops in the city.
The municipality of Kubani announced, at the end of August 2018, the service of  four buses started inside the city and its countryside, for/25/ SYP per ticket within the city, and /50/SYP for the countryside up to the town of Sorien (38 km south of Kubani).
Kubani, which is a province of Self-Administration in north and east Syria, since July 2012, is about 160 km from Aleppo province in north-west Syria, on the Syrian-Turkish border, in a plain, that geographically considered an extension of Saruj’s plain, South Urfa in Turkey.
This city was attacked by (the Islamic State Organization), in September 2014, and was liberated after bloody battles , in the end of January 2015, where the “People Protection Units” declared its control over the entire city, after it was greatly destructed, plus , the displacement of thousands of people to Turkey.
After more than three years, that  the “Islamic State” which is catalogued on the international “terrorist list”,  was disposed of, the local administration is trying to organize the area with the help of civilians.
The chaos that transportation was in, between the city and its countryside, wastes a lot of Citizens’ time.
“Not knowing the internal buses arrival times to  the official bus stops, impedes its services and leads to citizens’ suffering from waiting in vain.”  Nasrat Jamal Kalo (Kubani resident) told North Press Agency.
Kalo explained that the new schedule published by the garage administration to the shops, helps citizens to know the departure times of these buses, as well as their arrival times to all bus stop stations  within the city and on its outskirts.
“The goal of setting and publishing the schedule, is to make it easier for the people to know the times of the internal buses arrival to their own stations,  in the four lines on which they operate, Dilkhaz Najib, the garage manager, said to North Press, adding,  “working  on the schedule took two months”.
Najib said that three buses operate inside the city (a western line, an eastern one and another in the city center), from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., in addition to another  bus operates on the city line and the town of Sorien.
Also, they depart at 7 a.m. and arrive at the next station  within five minutes. Moreover the schedule shows the order of official bus stops for each one operating within the city.
The number of the internal buses on the countryside lines  is expected to be increased by the administration of transportation  “to meet the needs of the citizens”. According to the administrator .
Furthermore, the garage administration assured to us that the majority of Kubani citizens rely on their own vehicles to move within the city, while “the Self-Administration” employees, school and university students use internal buses in moving within the city. Moreover, 28 vans are registered at the garage administration in the province, to operate between Kubani and Aleppo,  and other /65/vans on Kubani- Qamishli  line, as well as /18/buses operat on Kubani line to and from  Aleppo, Damascus, Lebanon and Aljazeera region.
