ENKS condemns bombing and calls on international community to return displaced people of Afrin to their homes

The Kurdish National Council in Syria (ENKS) condemned the bombing occurred in Afrin, asking the international community and concerned parties to return the displaced people of Afrin to their homes.
It said, in a statement on Wednesday, that the Council "renews its call to the international community, the United Nations, and relevant international parties to enable the displaced people of Afrin to return to their homes safely."
Moreover, ENKS demanded the removal of militants from the cities and villages, handing over the administration of the area to its people, and helping them to manage their affairs, end their suffering and rid them of the "evil of the terrorists."
The statement added that the bombing comes within the "continuation of horrific violations against the people of Afrin and the entire region at the hands of the armed groups' members, with the aim of intimidating people and forcing them to be displaced to share their property."
The Afrin Post website concerned with news and events of Afrin stated that the death toll reached 61 in addition to 70 injuries including women and children, beside the burning of dozens of shops and cars in the vicinity of the explosion's site as a result of the scattering of burning fuel dozens of meters from the site of explosion.
The bombing met with widespread condemnation from the United Nations and U.S. State Department, while the Syrian Democratic Council and the Defense Department of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, in addition to Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), held Turkey responsible for the explosion and the violations committed by its affiliated armed groups in the Afrin region.
