U.S. troops wandering in the streets of Hasakah, northeastern Syria

A U.S. military patrol consisting of 4 armored vehicles arrived in the city of Hasakah on Monday afternoon, coming from the town of Remailan, northeastern Syria.
The U.S. patrol, which was accompanied by two Apache helicopters, stopped in Khashman neighborhood in the city of Hasakah, and then headed north to stop for more than half an hour in the town of Safia, north of Hasakah.
Some U.S. troops wandered among the local people and talked to them, in addition to buying some necessities, in an unusual step by the U.S. troops present in northeastern Syria. Then, the patrol headed towards the town of Tal Barak, northwest of Hasakah.
