European Parliamentarian delegation arrives in north-eastern Syria

A delegation from the Socialist Bloc in the European Parliament has arrived at the Foreign Relations Bureau of the Autonomous Administration of north-eastern Syria, in the city of Qamishli, on Sunday afternoon. The parliamentarian delegation headed by Andreas Cheddar, the member of the European Parliament, met with the co-chair of the Bureau of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration at the department’s office, as they discussed the latest developments in the region, especially after the Turkish military invasion.
The European parliamentarian delegation affirmed that they will visit a number of areas which have been bombarded by the Turkish military and its affiliated Syrian armed groups, in the upcoming days, to check on the reality of the situation there.
It is noteworthy that north-eastern Syria has recently witnessed a number of visits to the Bureau of Foreign Relations by some European delegations, to discuss recent developments and future prospects in the region.
