Russian forces conduct first patrol from the new military post in Tal Tamr

The Russian forces operating in Syria have conducted a new patrol on the M4 highway in the western countryside of the town of Tal Tamr, northeastern Syria, today on Friday. The Russian military patrol which consisted of 6 armored vehicles, accompanied by two helicopters started from the newly established observation post in Tal Tamr, in the western countryside of Hasakah.

 

North-Press reporter stated that the patrol crossed towards the M4 highway and the grain silos of Aliya, which had been looted and vandalized by the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups, before being recently controlled by the Syrian government forces, under an understanding by the Russians with the Turks.

It is noteworthy that this patrol is the first by the Russian forces on the M4 highway after converting a station in the northern entrance of the town of Tal Tamr into a military post, in coordination with the Syrian Democratic Forces last Wednesday. Where military sources told North-Press that the mission of this observation post is to exchange military information within a coordination room, in addition to making it a starting point for conducting joint military patrols.
