After fkeeing her home in Sere-Kaniye (Ras al-Ain), where her grandchildren were saved from the bombing of the Turkish war-planes, Amina ended up in the village of Tal Nasri in Tal Tamr’s southern countryside, northeastern Syria.

Amina was not aware at the beginning that the Turkish threats, which she had heard for months on television stations, she would truly live, upon which she escaped her home with her grandchildren, unconcerned with what she left behind, contented with saving lives, amidst the sounds of bombing by the Turkish war-planes and the screams of those with her.

Amina Bozi, 65 years old woman, who lived with her eldest son, wife and seven children, said: "After two days of talking about threats and the start of the Turkish bombing of our city, I was sitting with my grandchildren during the afternoon in our house, and suddenly we saw Turkish war-planes flying over, so we hurried to catch The little children and we tried to speed up our escape, we were running quickly until we reached Ras al-Ain Garage while the Turkish war-planes were bombing our city.”

"We got in the car until we reached the village of Tal Nasri, where people of the village welcomed us and opened their doors for us, They provided us with most of our needs, we feel safe here," she continued.

Amina, who fled with her children and grandchildren from the indiscriminate Turkish bombing, said she knows very well that their homes in Ras al-Ain have been looted and stolen, "they take what they want from them, they burn the stuff they don't like, and this is the case of most homes there," she added.

"We cannot do anything, it breaks my heart every day when we hear such news, nevertheless, we thank God that we were able to save our children and managed to bring them into this village," Amina said.

Amina asserted that the most important thing for her is the life of the children, stressing her desire to return to her home, "even if it was destroyed and burned. We can set up a tent and live in it, provided that it's in our city. We all want to return home," she added.
