Discontent in Aleppo upon opposition s ongoing shelling on city s neighborhoods

The city of Aleppo undergoes constant shelling targeting its densely populated neighborhoods with mortar shells and homemade rockets by the armed opposition groups, stationed on the western outskirts of the city. The shelling is cause loss of human lives and properties, in addition to a wave of resentment among the locals who demanded the Syrian government to resolve this matter and protect them from repeated shelling.
Targeting the neighborhoods of the city was renewed by the armed opposition groups on Saturday, from the western outskirts and al-Leramon area, where they are stationed. As Halab al-Jadida neighborhood was targeted by more than three rocket-propelled grenades and al-Adhamiya neighborhood with a missile. The shelling also affected al-Hamdaniya neighborhood, project of 3000 apartments and Salah al-Din neighborhood with several rocket-propelled grenades. No casualties were reported, while ambulance vehicles were heard in those areas.
While the residents called on the Syrian government to resolve this matter militarily, and protect them from the repeated shelling, by campaigns launched on social media platforms. Abdulmajid Murad, a member of the political bureau of the Syrian Future Party, told North-Press: "Targeting Aleppo with missiles to destabilize the security situation of civilians." He added that the renewed targeting of the city coincides with the refusal of the opposition delegation in the Constitutional Committee in Geneva to discuss the Syrian terms.
Murad added these armed groups must be confronted militarily and politically to eliminate targeting civilians in the city of Aleppo.
