A Russian-flagged armored vehicle parked in the middle of Kobani's main road for the second day, but it was much different from the first day. Noisy smiles, silence, chatting, and an exchange of sarcasm among residents of the city of Kobani, where residents still reject what the government forces and its media brought.
The Russian armored vehicle broke down in the middle of the road, and this scene isn't familiar for the inhabitants of this city, who aren't accustomed to seeing broken military armored vehicles in the streets of the city, especially those belonging to one of the world's most influential poles.
This scene has been repeating over the last two days, as the same scene of Russian troops hundreds of meters away from the soldier carrier continues daily. Soldiers carrying eggs and cans with fried potatoes and grilled chicken, while the other bought a broom and a bowl to wash his clothes and other things concealed by their positioning points in the area.
These scenes were in the bordering city of Kobani, which is still subjected to the Turkish threats, to haunt its inhabitants, the IDPs resorted to and the ones got out of it.
Russian forces entered the city with the Syrian government forces, applying an agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which allowed them to enter the area and deploy the border guards of the Syrian government forces on the borders.
This Russian and Syrian government forces into Kobani still followed by continued Turkish threats to expand its areas of invasion, and to attack the city where the Islamic State (ISIS) was defeated in early 2015.
