In response to the White House announcement to withdraw its military forces from north and eastern Syria, the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) stated that the White House decision “undermines all the efforts of the war against ISIS, and gives up its responsibilities in the war against terrorism.”
SDC said in a statement to the public opinion, today, that White House has announced “once again its agreement on the occupation that north and eastern Syria will be exposed to, leaving the region open to serious possibilities, which in turn, would make a very serious impact on the fight against terrorism.”

The Council noted that the withdrawal of the U.S. forces will profoundly affect “the political situation and international endeavors to end the crisis and solving it politically, and increase the complexity of the scene, in addition to pushing other regional parties to increase their presence on the line of crisis.”
The SDC added: “We continue to take all necessary steps at the diplomatic level, and activate ways of dialogue with the various international parties concerned in the Syrian crisis to stop this aggression, and to spare our people the dangers of any military clash, and not to fail to carry out their responsibilities.”

The Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) statement stressed that Turkey will not be able to impose its control on the Islamic State militants and their families in the region, calling on the international community, the United Nations and the Security Council to take “more responsibility of the people of this region, and protect them from Turkish assault, which aimed at their historical presence on their land.”
Moreover, the SDC stated: “Any Turkish assault will lead to a humanitarian disaster and a large wave of civilian displacement of the safe region,” pointing out that they have done “all what it takes of diplomatic necessities to resolve the dispute with Turkey, of which the latest was the implementation of the security mechanism agreement.”

The U.S. President Donald Trump has said that it is time for the United States to get out of these ridiculous wars, and that “We are 7000 miles away and will crush ISIS again if they come anywhere near us!” He tweeted.
“We stayed and got deeper and deeper into battle with no aim in sight. When I arrived in Washington, ISIS was running rampant in the area. We quickly defeated 100% of the ISIS Caliphate.” Trump stated in a series of tweets.
“It is time for us to get out of these ridiculous Endless Wars and bring our soldiers home.” He added that they would fight for victory, only when their interests require.
