Erdogan announces moving towards the east of the Euphrates

The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that his country will carry out air and ground operations in the eastern Euphrates. This comes after the armed opposition groups have announced the merger and formation of the National Army, which consists of about 100,000 fighters.
Erdogan has declared, on Saturday, that his country “will carry out air and ground operations in the eastern Euphrates in Syria to establish peace there,” as he said.
“We made our preparations and completed the military operation plan in the east of the Euphrates, and issued the necessary instructions on this regard.” Turkish agency of Anatolia has quoted  Erdogan as saying .
Moreover, he explained that the operation is soon, claiming that the goal of the operation is to establish peace in the east of the Euphrates,” Erdogan added.
The Turkish president pointed out that ground and air patrols are just words. “The talk is over for those who smile in our face and procrastinate us with diplomatic talks,” Erdogan said, referring to the United States, “under the pretext of keeping our country away from the terrorist organization,” he said.
The Turkish president’s statement came a day after the Syrian opposition groups announced the new military formation under the name of the National Army, which constituted of the merger of more than 35 military groups.
The head of the interim government Abdul Rahman Mustafa declared yesterday, the merger of the National Liberation Front in Idlib, the National Army corpses in the Euphrates Shield and the Olive Branch areas northern Aleppo.
The new formation will consist of seven seats; each seat occupied by a corps of the newly formed National Army of the integration of more than 35 military groups deployed in the eastern and northern Aleppo countryside, and includes about 110 thousand fighters.
