Syrian-Kurdish MP: The government and opposition’s agendas don’t contain any rights of Kurds

The Syrian-Kurdish member in the Syrian governmental parliament, Omar Ossi said that the Syrian-Kurdish representation in the discussing committee of the constitution is so weak, with the exclusion of the Autonomous Administration and other Kurdish parties from the works of this committee.
In a statement issued by him, where North-Press has obtained a copy, Ossi stated: “The Syrian-Kurdish representation in the discussing Committee of the Constitution is weak, according to the leaked lists so far”, indicating that the Kurdish National Council (ENKS) in Syria is included in the list of the Oppositional National Coalition, adding that, he meant the exclusion of the Autonomous Administration in the north and east of Syria, alongside other Kurdish parties.
“In this way, the majority of the Kurdish component and a large Syrian segment in north and east of Syria have been excluded from participating in the constitutional committee”, he said.
Ossi, who expected the United Nations to announce an agreement among all parties on the formation of the constitutional committee in Syria, and the announcement of the names and mechanism of its work within hours, stressed that the exclusion is due to two main reasons.
“The first reason is the Kurdish political division, the disagreement among the Syrian-Kurdish national and cultural parties, groups and figures, and the non-arrangement of the internal Syrian-Kurdish house in the face of these major national entitlements”, he said.
He added: “The second reason is the regional international interventions in the internal affairs of Syria, especially the issue of the Constitutional Committee”. 
Ossi believes that the issue of drafting a new constitution for the future Syria “is a Syrian issue belongs to the Syrian people with all its components, while foreign countries such as Turkey, the U.S., even Russia and Iran have no right to interfere”.
Ossi stressed that “Turkey has resorted to the use of veto against the participation of the Autonomous Administration, the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and some other Syrian Kurdish figures, and against me in person, from participating in the works of the Constitutional Committee”. 
He said: “If the Kurdish stance was unified, Turkey wouldn’t dare to interfere in this Syrian national entitlement”, noting that, “the outcome of this committee won’t take into account the interests of the Kurdish people in Syria and their legitimate national rights”.
He revealed in his statement that the agendas of the Syrian government and the agendas of the opposition don’t have “any reforms or fixed national rights of the Kurds in Syria”.
He also stressed on the representatives of the Kurdish National Council about the need to adhere to the Kurdish constants, pointing out that, “the exclusion of the majority of the Kurds, and the PYD (a large party) isn’t in the supreme national interests of the future Syria”.
