Autonomous Administration affirms its commitment to the understandings of the safe zone

The Autonomous Administration in the North and Eastern Syria confirmed its commitment to the “tripartite understandings” among the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the United States of America (USA) and Turkey, regarding the establishment of a “security mechanism” in northeastern Syria. 
In a statement which was issued today, the Autonomous Administration said: “The first steps of carrying out the understandings, started on the 24th of this month in Sere-Kaniye/Ras al-Ain, where the People’s Protection Units (YPG) have withdrawn with their heavy weapons to their new points, and the bordering points were handed over to the local forces.”
  
The Autonomous Administration noted in the statement that it “is keen to reach a solution for all issues through peaceful dialogue with the neighboring countries”.
