Self-administration Hand Over Five Children of IS Organization to the Norwegian Government 

Democratic self-administration in north and east Syria handed over five children of the Islamic State “IS”  Norwegian militants to a delegation from their country’s foreign ministry.

The event took place in accordance with an official document signed by the co-chair of the Foreign Relations Department, Abdulkarim Omar, and the representative of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry, Kristen Netland.

 Spokesman for the Foreign Relations Department, Kamal Akef, said that the five orphaned children were handed over at the request of the Kingdom of Norway, to be taken out of extremism environment to a healthy one in which they will be rehabilitated and integrated into their basic communities.

Upon the recent fighting between the IS militants and the international coalition-backed SDF, in the last stronghold of Al-Bagouz, east of Deir Ez-Zour, the latter have evacuated thousands of IS children and women and placed them in Al-Hol camp east of Al-Hasaka.

According to official records of Al-Hol camp administration, about 300  orphans of IS are currently in the camp, 113 of whom are sponsored by humanitarian organizations in centers within the camp, and the rest are adopted by some of the  organization’s families.
