Bashar Al-Assad is liken the Syrian War to What the Ottomans Committed Against the Armenians
The Syrian President, Bashar Al-assad, said “ the barbaric terrorist war of Syria is like the brutal massacres committed by the Ottomans against the Armenians.”
Earlier, Al-Assad had received the Armenian Aram I Keshishian, Catholicos of Cilicia the pastor of the Great House, and his accompanying delegation.
“Syria, always, have been and will be the homeland to its people, regardless of their religions or races.” According to state media quoted Al-Assad
Bashar Al-Assad praised the “national role presented by the Syrian Armenians through embodying the values and meanings of citizenship, belonging and national unity in the face of the subversive projects that the barbaric terrorist war has perpetuated against Syria, which is reminiscent of the massacres carried out by the Ottomans’ against the Armenian people.”
