Israeli forces raid homes, question residents in Syria’s Quneitra
QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) – Three Israeli army patrols on Sunday entered the southern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, and questioned residents before withdrawing, amid near-daily incursions in the area.
Local sources told North Press that an Israeli patrol consisting of six military vehicles entered the western neighborhood of Rafid village in southern Quneitra.
The sources said the Israeli patrol searched several homes and detained three people for questioning before withdrawing from the village.
The sources also said other Israeli forces entered Saida al-Golan village in southern Quneitra, set up a military checkpoint and searched passersby.
Another Israeli force entered Jubata al-Khashab town in Quneitra and searched a home, according to the same sources.
