Israeli forces bulldoze agricultural land in Syria’s Quneitra
QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces on Saturday carried out an incursion into the vicinity of Samadaniya al-Gharbiya in the northern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, where they bulldozed agricultural land.
Local sources told North Press that the Israeli forces were accompanied by two tanks and two bulldozers and immediately began extensive earthmoving operations targeting agricultural land and prefabricated structures along the road connecting Samadaniya al-Sharqiya and Samadaniya al-Gharbiya.
In a related development, the sources said Israeli forces blocked the road linking Samadaniya al-Sharqiya village and Khan Arnabah town by constructing a temporary earthen berm, while more than 50 personnel and heavy vehicles were deployed along the road.
The sources said a team from the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) later arrived at the site to monitor the situation on the ground.
