QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Two people were killed and another was injured on Sunday after unidentified gunmen targeted a vehicle carrying them in the city of Tafas in the western countryside of Daraa governorate, according to a local source.
The source told North Press that unidentified armed men opened fire on the vehicle in Tafas, killing Ziad Tariq al-Zoubi and Saeed Malik al-Zoubi at the scene.
The attack also wounded Baraa al-Zoubi, a member of the Syrian army’s 40th Division, the source said.
The injured man was transferred to a hospital to receive medical treatment.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and the perpetrators remain unidentified.
