Syria announces new fuel, gas prices for consumers

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC) on Thursday announced updated fuel and gas prices for consumers in local markets, according to its official pricing bulletin.

Under the new rates, the price of one liter of first-grade diesel was set at $0.88, while the price of Octane 90 gasoline was fixed at $1.10 per liter and Octane 95 gasoline at $1.15 per liter.

The company also set the price of a domestic gas cylinder at $12.50 and an industrial gas cylinder at $20, based on an adopted exchange rate of 13,300 Syrian pounds per US dollar.

The updated pricing reflects ongoing adjustments to fuel and gas costs in Syria in line with fluctuations in the exchange rate, amid continued economic pressures across the country.
