Gunmen kill two, injure others in Hama  countryside

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Two people were killed and four others injured on Saturday in an armed attack in the town of Saboura, north of al-Salamiyah in Hama countryside, according to Syrian media outlets.

Eyewitnesses reported that two unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle opened fire on pedestrians and several shops in the town center. The attack resulted in the deaths of two civilians and left four others wounded, some in critical condition. Local sources confirmed that the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The countryside of Hama has witnessed repeated incidents of violence, often involving unidentified gunmen targeting civilians and local businesses. Such attacks have contributed to instability in central Syria, where government forces maintain control but face challenges in securing remote areas.
