Attack in Idlib kills one government soldier, wounds another

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A member of Syrian government forces was killed and another wounded on Friday after unknown assailants targeted a military vehicle in the city of Saraqib in eastern Idlib countryside, according to a government source.

The source told North Press that an unidentified white D.M. vehicle “fired at Ministry of Defense fighters on the bridge of Saraqib city,” leading to immediate casualties among the personnel present in the area.

He stated that the attack resulted in the death of one soldier and the wounding of another, both affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Defense. The source added that the targeted fighters were operating with the government’s 74th Division.
