Israeli forces penetrate into central Quneitra countryside
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces, comprising three military vehicles, advanced on Wednesday towards the Eastern Samdaniya junction in the central countryside of Quneitra, southwestern Syria.
This recent maneuver marks another instance of Israeli military incursions into Syrian territory, a move that continues to provoke strong condemnation from the Syrian government. The Syrian government has called for immediate international action to halt these ongoing intrusions.
Earlier this week, Israeli troops had conducted similar operations in the region, setting up multiple checkpoints in the Quneitra countryside. These checkpoints have led to extensive searches of both vehicles and pedestrians at various locations, increasing tensions in the area.
