Israeli airstrikes hit multiple military sites in Rif Damascus

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Our correspondent in Damascus reported on Wednesday that Israeli aircraft carried out several airstrikes on military sites near the city of al-Kiswah in Rif Damascus.

Witnesses noted that the planes broke the sound barrier and released illuminating flares over western Rif Damascus, particularly above the Al-Kiswah area. The strikes were accompanied by loud explosions heard from the targeted locations.

Reuters quoted a source in the Syrian army stating that Israel conducted a series of strikes on former military barracks in southwestern Rif Damascus.

The report added that the attacks coincided with intensive Israeli air activity over Damascus, Daraa, and Quneitra, suggesting a coordinated series of operations across multiple southern and southwestern provinces.
