Asayish officers injured in armed attack in Raqqa

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) reported on Monday that two of their members were wounded in an armed attack in the town of Mansoura, located west of Raqqa in northern Syria.

In an official statement, the Asayish said that unidentified gunmen opened fire on the officers while they were positioned near a commercial shop in the town center, resulting in injuries to both officers.

The attack also left a civilian injured, who was reportedly in close proximity to the security personnel at the time of the shooting.

The statement emphasized that the Asayish forces are actively pursuing those responsible and pledged to bring the perpetrators to justice.
