Trump warns Netanyahu against undermining Iran nuclear talks

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – U.S. President Donald Trump warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against taking any actions that could obstruct ongoing negotiations between Washington and Tehran over Iran’s nuclear program, a senior White House official and another source familiar with the details said on Tuesday.

The warning reportedly came during a phone call between the two leaders last week. According to the sources, Trump delivered a clear message to Netanyahu that this is not the time for escalation, as they are working to resolve the outstanding issues.

The White House official noted that both Trump and other senior U.S. officials have privately expressed growing concern that Netanyahu might authorize a military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities or take other steps that could derail diplomatic efforts.

The official added that Trump conveyed his desire to pursue a diplomatic resolution with Iran and emphasized that he does not want anything to jeopardize that.
