Unidentified gunmen attack SDF in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified gunmen carried out on Sunday evening an attack on the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, eastern Syria.
A military source told North Press that armed gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire with a machine gun on an SDF military vehicle near the village of Namliya, north of Deir ez-Zor.
“The attack led to an exchange of fire between the two sides, but no casualties or injuries were reported,” the source said.
Earlier, the SDF announced that unknown gunmen attacked an SDF military post in the village of Sabha, prompting another clash. One civilian near the site was injured during the exchange.
