Jordan lifts pre-approval requirement for citizens traveling to Syria
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – The Jordanian Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday that Jordanian citizens are now allowed to travel by land to Syria through the Jaber border crossing without the need for prior approval.
In an official statement, the Ministry said that this decision aligns with procedures applied at other border crossings, except in cases where security concerns may prevent travel.
Previously, travelers were required to obtain special permission from the Ministry due to restrictions imposed under the former Syrian regime.
The Ministry also urged citizens to comply with existing regulations at border crossings and to cooperate with security personnel to ensure safety and expedite travel procedures.
