Israeli forces destroy Assad regime command center on Mount Hermon

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – The Israeli forces announced on Monday that it had located and destroyed what it described as the central command headquarters of the former Syrian regime atop Mount Hermon.

Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated that an Israeli unit carried out a raid targeting the command center of the military unit previously responsible for overseeing the Mount Hermon area under the al-Assad regime.

According to Adraee, the operation uncovered military infrastructure dating back to the former regime, including weapons caches and combat equipment.

The recovered materials reportedly included artillery pieces, rocket launchers, mortar shells, rockets, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and landmines. He added that all the equipment was either seized or destroyed during the operation.
