DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The U.S.-led Global Coalition conducted on Saturday night-time exercises and ground patrols in both Deir ez-Zor and Hasakah governorates in eastern Syria.

A military source from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir ez-Zor told North Press that Coalition forces held night drills at the al-Omar oil field base, marking the second consecutive evening of military training.

According to the source, the exercises were accompanied by the deployment of illumination flares and aerial activity involving warplanes flying overhead.

The Coalition forces also carried out extended patrols in the town of al-Ajjajah in the countryside of Hasakah, as well as in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, particularly near the Euphrates River.
