Rights organization documents about 1,600 killings in Syria in March
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported on Wednesday that approximately 1,600 people were killed across Syria during the month of March.
March saw a surge in violence, particularly along the Syrian coast, where dozens were killed or injured in escalating incidents.
In its monthly report, the Network documented the deaths of 1,562 individuals, including 102 children, 99 women, and 33 medical personnel.
The report also recorded 11 attacks on vital civilian infrastructure, including six targeting medical facilities.
