U.S.-led Coalition conducts nighttime military drills in eastern Syria
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The U.S.-led Global Coalition conducted on Saturday nighttime military exercises and patrols in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
A military source close to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) told North Press that the Coalition carried out night drills around its bases located in the al-Omar oil field and the Conoco gas field in the east of Deir ez-Zor.
According to the source, the Coalition forces, led by the United States, employed advanced weaponry during the exercises, which lasted for several hours.
In parallel with the drills, the Coalition forces also conducted ground patrols in the towns of Diban, Shuhail, and Hawaij, as well as in the eastern Deir ez-Zor desert.
The source noted that the Coalition has recently intensified its training activities in the region, signaling a continued focus on security and operational readiness in eastern Syria.
