Israeli forces enter areas in Mount Hermon in south Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Israeli military forces announced on Sunday that they had entered areas in Mount Hermon in southern Syria last week that had never been accessed before.

In an official statement, the Israeli military said that over the past week, forces from the Brigade 810, under the command of the Division 210, conducted operations in newly accessed areas at the summit of Mount Hermon to disrupt threats and seize enemy equipment.

During the operation, troops from the Brigade 810 and the Yahalom unit uncovered military infrastructure, various military equipment, and an explosive device weighing tens of kilograms.

The Israeli military also released photos and videos documenting their movements in the Syrian region.

The statement emphasized that the Israeli forces will continue targeting terrorist infrastructure at Mount Hermon’s summit to safeguard Israeli citizens and residents of the Golan Heights.
