Israeli airstrikes hit weapons depots in Syria’s Latakia
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Israeli warplanes launched early on Thursday multiple airstrikes on sites near the port of Latakia along the Syrian coast, reportedly destroying weapons depots.
According to official local media, Israeli aircraft carried out several raids at dawn, targeting areas around White Port and the city of Latakia.
The reports added that six airstrikes specifically hit the 110 Naval Brigade in the Ras al-Shamra area, resulting in the destruction of weapons depots.
Authorities are currently assessing the impact to determine whether there were any casualties.
So far, the Syrian caretaker government has not issued a statement regarding the strikes.
