Israeli bombardment kills 5 people in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Syrian media reported on Tuesday that five people, including a woman, were killed following an Israeli bombardment west of Daraa, in southern Syria.
According to the semi-official newspaper al-Watan, an Israeli military force advanced into the village of Kuya in the Yarmouk Basin, where clashes erupted with local fighters.
The outlet noted that the official casualty count remains incomplete, as residents flee the area in fear of further attacks.
Meanwhile, Daraa 24 reported a higher death toll of seven, with multiple others injured in the strike on Kuya.
This comes a day after Israeli shelling targeted a military site in northern Daraa, reportedly housing several tanks.
