U.S.-led Global Coalition conducts military drills in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The Global Coalition forces carried out on Friday evening military exercises and patrols in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
A military source from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) told North Press that the Coalition conducted three-hour-long drills at its base in the al-Omar field.
The exercises involved advanced weaponry and artillery shelling, accompanied by drone and warplane activity overhead.
Additionally, the source noted that Coalition forces patrolled seven villages in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, beginning from their base in the Conoco field and passing through the town of Khsham.
The source emphasized that the Coalition has recently intensified its military exercises in Deir Ezzor following the arrival of significant military and logistical reinforcements to its bases in the region.
