Israel resumes airstrikes on Gaza, leaving over 300 dead

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – In the early hours of Tuesday, Israel resumed its military operations in multiple areas of the Gaza Strip, launching a series of intense airstrikes that resulted in the deaths of more than 300 people.

According to Israel’s public broadcaster, the Israeli Air Force carried out a widespread wave of attacks across Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant instructed the military to take decisive action against Hamas.

The renewed attacks claimed at least 322 lives and left hundreds injured. Hamas directly blamed Netanyahu for the consequences of the attack, accusing him of escalating the conflict.

The escalation comes 85 days after a ceasefire agreement was established. U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steven Wietkov, condemned Hamas’s response to a proposed ceasefire extension, calling it “completely unacceptable.”
