Lebanon sets up temporary crossing with Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Lebanese authorities set up on Saturday a temporary border crossing in the Arida area to ease traffic and trade with Syria.

Key routes and border crossings between Lebanon and Syria were destroyed following Israeli airstrikes targeting weapons shipments to Hezbollah.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced the creation of this temporary passage to restore connectivity between the two countries.

The crossing is intended to facilitate the movement of trucks and civilians, particularly after the water level in the Nahr al-Kabir River receded.
